At Colour we are looking at a new camera and we stubled on this clip of skateboarding filmed in 1000 fps with the Phantom Camera and all we can say is DAMN! We want this camera but it’s a bit out of our price range about 20,000 dollars. The skate event is the City Squared Skate by BILLABONG.

I came across this music video tonight and I was amazed by its cinematography. The music video has quite an interesting story and leaves the audience without a Disney ending. You can tell this was shoot on the Canon 7D and it shows you what somebody with skills can create with a DSLR. You couldn’t do this much better with a RED. There has probably not been allot of post work which keeps the colours so good and natural. If you know your composition and cinematography you don’t need anything more than the 7D. Once a year, the french collective of street culture enthusiasts and trendsetters known as La MJC publish what you might call a “Bible” when it comes to urban fashion and culture. The over 200 pages thick book sums up month by month the biggest and most sought after releases in the realm of sneakers, apparel, books, gears and toys. And in a truly fashionable way the All Gone books are printed in a limited number.
But the folks at La MJC are kind enough to show us an outtake of the books online. And it’s more than enough to make a sneakerhead like me get some serious cravings.

Sometimes web-design goes terrible wrong. It’s just awful and funny. So therefore we wanna share it on here. It’s like Website of the Week. but in reverse. Explanation to why is available at the Oatmeal.
Right now I’m on vacation to Mammoth lakes in the US. The internet here and cellphone net barley works if you get 500kb/s you are on the “Cyber-space future super hi-way”. You daliy hear things like “Thats how you do things on internet?”, “You seen this Dramatic Chipmunk?”, and “Thats why you got the macbook pro!”. My mac is treated like a NASA super computer. Here the local web-designen is done by that media guy. That 40-year old music teacher, media guy, hippie computer teacher at the local high school every small town has one(one usual attribute is that hair in one nice long Pony-Tail). Well he thought it be a good idea to record some music with his “super talented” singer daughter and put that over some bright html code.
Therefor make it cool and creative. The website has noob faults like one long sentece in the keyword meta words hahaha!! What a NOOB! ROFEL ROFEL(it sounds cooler than ROFL). (rofel (or rofels) is a new intraweb-savvy laugh (or reply.) A purposeful mispelling of “rofl.”) Urban Dictionary
So check this website out! Be sure to check out the music for the menu. I just feel like a agent too lazy to walk 500 meters to buy food.

I bet you this web-site gets more traffic than any other website I ever created. Sometimes all you need music and bright html if then serve this good food.

Check out this longboard deisgned by Antonio Carusone of A1. Heres what he say’s about the board “When we began thinking about the 39, Buddy told me that he wanted it to be a mix of classic surf graphics with a modern touch. I did some research and I was really inspired by the simple, two-tone surf designs from the 50’s and 60’s. The shape of the board also takes its queue from the same era, featuring a classic pintail shape. For the type, I wanted to use a typeface that had a mix of both classic and modern, so I decided on Modern No. 20, which I think works perfectly. Also, believe it or not, I used a grid system for this design. Worked like a charm, even on a shape like this. Overall, I think it’s a nice package, but most important, it rides like a dream.”
You can grab one over at the Buddy Carr site. Enjoy, the ride.

Check out these amazing drawings and this sick new Phoenix song “If I ever feel better”. Heres what Amanda Mocci says about the art. “This was a personal project that I just finished last semester at UQAM (09). I created a personal book filled with portraits, my thoughts, quotes and songs of people who inspire me to draw. Music is the main reason why I started drawing in the first place.”
