SnowboarderMag is holding a contest to crown the best video from this years Superpark 14 in Mammoth. This interactive contest is a weekly video faceoff where two Superpark edits go head-to-head with the victor being decided by the SnowboarderMag.com viewer. The entry which receives the most votes each week advances to the next round and has the chance of winning the $5000.
In the first heat we have the Snowboard Realms vs. Video Gypsy, and Colour’s Niklas Mattson is featured in the Snowboard Realms edit with some slick tricks. So check it out and go over to SnowboarderMag to cast your vote.

At Colour we are looking at a new camera and we stubled on this clip of skateboarding filmed in 1000 fps with the Phantom Camera and all we can say is DAMN! We want this camera but it’s a bit out of our price range about 20,000 dollars. The skate event is the City Squared Skate by BILLABONG.

Earlier today the finals of the 3 Star TTR slopestyle event Piststilen went down in Ramundberget and none other than COLOUR’s own Niklas Mattson climbed on top of the podium! His winner run consisted of a bs 10 late cork and a solid air in the corner. In 2nd place we find the sweetheart from Ulricehamn, Kevin Bäckström and in 3rd Falun’s finest, Ludde Lejkner.
In the ski contest Oskar Harlaut won before Kristoffer “Piffen” Edwall and Jim Wolf-Johansson.

Yesterday I was in Tandådalen checking out the Oxborn Session Arena. The jump looked pretty decent, just needs a few adjustments. Hopefully I will feel good enough in my knee to shred on saturday when it all goes down. Colour will be there during the whole Winter Weekend so be sure to stop by our tent.

If you recall I was supposed to go participate in the Oakley Jib Vid along with Kuske and Kire. But I was a bit unfortunate and injured my knee a week before. So here you have the top two videos from the competition last week. Hopefully we’ll get a new shoot next year.
And sadly Kire got injured last week as well, broke his hand and collarbone. Some people are just unfairly out of luck…

It seems like the french had a little problem to put together the X Games slopestyle course. Lack of speed and pretty small jumps. But Eric Willet steped up and threw down the best run of the day, upgrading his silver medal from X Games in Aspen earlier this year to a gold medal.
